"Ok Mr Ranger, no more Picernic baskets for BooBoo today!"

Lovely weather, and quite warm too. We rode (too fast) down to the woods. Once there up the "knarly climb" I sat on Mike's wheel all the way up, felt fine.

We found a new track drop off, which got all 8 of us into different moods of excitement and fear. From there over to the rollercoaster and then back up to the church.

We went down the road and were gonna climb back up, only to be told by a ranger that we ought to have passes... er what passes? The sign was at about 20' up a tree! Ideal if you are on horseback. We explained that we look at roots and stuff, not up trees like horse riders do. She understood the point. Anyway £11 a year seemed OK to me. By then half our group had gone on so we were left to catch up.

Back in Woburn, Mike as usual put the hammer down and we split up fast. Through the park it was hare and rabbut all the way. We were well split up by now. Andy and his mate were nowhere to be seen. Er Colin what you done?

Anyway it was only about 30 mins to sundown so we were all hot footing it back to the clubhouse.

Felt strong despite aching legs from some circuit training I did yesterday with the old man....

Great ride!

I hear the HONC is now full!
